Such fatalities include 1 aircraft accident; 19 automobile accidents; 2 drownings; 1 duty-related illness; 2 fall-related fatalities; 1 fire fatality; 25 gunfire fatalities; 10 heart attacks; 4 motorcycle accidents; 1 stabbing; 5 vehicular-related fatalities; 2 training-related accidents; 2 vehicular pursuit-related fatalities, and 4 vehicular assaults.
In terms of gunshot-related deaths (by month) of 2013, January saw a total of 5 fatalities; February, 14; March, 10; April, 11; May, 10; June, 3; July, 7; August, 6, and September of saw 13 gunshot fatalities.
